Thrissur: Three students of Thrissur Government Medical College allegedly attacked the manager of a hotel in Thrissur after he prohibited them from consuming beer on the premises. The Medical College police have registered a case against the accused.

The incident, which occurred around Friday midnight, involved two male students and a female student who arrived at the Almiya restaurant carrying beer. When they attempted to consume it at their table, hotel manager Aneesh intervened and stopped them. However, around an hour later, they allegedly returned with about eight other people. The group attacked Aneesh with a blade-like object, causing injuries. Hotel staff lodged a complaint with the Medical College Police Station.
